3 person show in Scottsdale AZ

Last week I traveled to Scottsdale AZ, for a couple of days to attend a show opening of some of my still lifes and landscape paintings. It was held with Paul Scott Gallery (480 874-3000) on the main street there. Scottsdale has a good number of galleries and art community and they do an art walk every Thursday evening. The opening tied in with the event and I chose to do a little painting demonstration to draw people in. We had a good attendance and few interested people, friends and collectors showed up specially, which was nice.

I love the AZ scenery for it's dramatic differences to California and stereotypical cactus. So many fantastic paintable rock formations and every plant seems to be spiky!
